Photowalk: Capture the Beauty of Ann Arbor
Rackham
AADL is proud to be hosting our first Photowalk this Saturday! Start by joining us for a panel discussion featuring portrait and festival photographer Myra Klarman, fine arts photographer and Crappy Camera Club cofounder Michael Myers, and Ann Arbor News photojournalist Leisa Thompson at 10 am. Then, stick around as we go out in groups to find the interesting things in Ann Arbor and document them with our cameras. You can come back to the Downtown Library Training Center to edit your photos on our iMacs and upload them to your Flickr account or our pictureAnnArbor collection. Bring your camera and join us!

I loved the walk around today. If I upload pics to the PictureAnnArbor collection do I still own the photograph (copyright etc.)?
Yes, you retain ownership of the images you post to PictureAnnArbor. The agreement says that you grant the library a license to digitally store and distribute the images, and that the images will also be available for others to use under a Creative Commons license, which allows any use of the image so long as it is attributed, noncommercial, and the result of the use is released under the same terms. Let us know if you have any other questions about this!
