The Youngest Candidate film viewing at Michigan Theater

On February 11 at 7:00 pm, the Neutral Zone will be hosting a film viewing at the Michigan Theater. The Youngest Candidate follows four teens from different parts of the US as they run for local elected public office. After winning Best First Time Documentary Filmmaker Award at Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival in July 2008, the film was screened at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO in August 2008. Between September 7th and November 4th 2008, The Youngest Candidate has been screened at 21 college campuses in 10 states, to encourage youth to register to vote. This event is free. Donations are accepted and a portion will benefit the Neutral Zone.
