Kid Crafts - Make a Gift Coupon Book

Create a personal gift coupon book at the Traverwood Branch on Tuesday, December 23, between 10:00 and 11:30 am. using envelopes, ribbon and calligraphy pens. School ages and up are welcome. Younger ages will need help from an adult during the project. If you like to get into the mood for a craft, read The Book Of Coupons by Susie Morgenstern. It is one of my favorite "chapter books" to read aloud to elementary school age children.

These coupons are awesome for holiday gift giving! I recently received one from my daughter that is for a shoulder massage. I cant wait to redeem my coupon!
I remember making my parents
I remember making my parents coupon books in school for Cristmas gifts when i was young. I believe my mom still has some unused coupons... I don't think that "free car wash" one is still valid though. If only I was sharp enough at age 8 to stamp them with an expiration date. :)
I still have a "Free Hug"
I still have a "Free Hug" coupon from my daughter from a decade ago. There's no expiration date on it either.
