Chess extravaganza
If chess is your game, check out two upcoming events for all ages at the new Traverwood branch:
Chess Strategies & Tips Sunday, December 7 (1 - 4 p.m.)
Local chess experts Jennifer Skidmore and Ron Finegold will provide tips to master the chess board battlefield. Then, play some chess with other participants to see how these strategies work.
Chesstastic Sunday, December 14 (1 – 4 p.m.)
Play one of the world’s most popular sports with players of all ages and abilities. Chess sets will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own. Challenge old friends and meet new ones!
