This Saturday is the first-ever American Library Association's National Gaming Day @ Your Library. We'll be hosting a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament, plus DDR and maybe a little Rock Band. AADL's tournament management software, gtsystem is the center of this event, and we'll be coordinating simultaneous events at over 100 libraries, including a 40+ library national brawl bracket, where the best players from around the country will square off online! Don't miss it, this Saturday 11/15 from 1 - 5 PM at our Malletts Creek Branch. Hope to see you there! A2 FTW.

This sounds great. I wasn't sure how many libraries were participating in this but 40+ really surprised me. Eli, I may not be playing Brawl, so when we get to that, if you guys need help with some coordination, I can help out. You sure have been busy... Over a hundred libraries. Any libraries in Los Angeles or San Francisco, California? I'm just curious in all your traveling if you ever went that far.

yeah i have a question, does brawl start right at 1? or is it gonna be ddr and brawl later or something

The brawl won't start precisely at 1, but it should start pretty quick if we have a good crowd. We need to have our top 4 players in the room identified by 2:45 PM.

DingDong, if you mean commentating, then sure. This is only if we actually have commentating. I'm having a friend be a backup commentator but I'll be pulling some players after their matches every now and then. Remember, this is only if we have commentating (which I doubt).
There actually was a big chance I wouldn't go today, but then I'd be letting lots of people down. I feel like crap right now. I didn't have much of a good night; throwing up over a very greasy Marco's Pizza both at 4:00 and 6:00. I only had three friggin pieces. While sleeping, I had a dream I was in Left 4 Dead, but I was being useless because my stomach hurt so much. Eventually I woke up and made friends with the toilet. I drank some orange juice and went back to sleep only to wake up again at 6 because my stomach wasn't finished. A cup of good orange juice...wasted.
To sum it up, please don't hassle me today. I'm not in a good mood.

I'm sensing some feelings on this site. J/K, for people who get offended when people make jokes about the word gay. Nothing against gay people, but i don't get how they don't like when people use the word gay.
