Michigan Author Homecoming at MSU

For those willing to drive an hour, well-known authors and Michigan State grads ">Richard Ford, Jim Harrison, and Thomas McGuane will visit Michigan State tomorrow for what is called the Michigan Author Homecoming. They are the authors of such books as Independence Day, Legends of the Fall, and The Sporting Club They will participate in a panel that will start at 7:30. Doors open at 6:45. A book signing will follow. There isn’t a cost, but according to the press release, seating is limited. It will take place at Pasant Theatre which is part of the Wharton Center on MSU’s campus.
There are wonderful articles about the event in today’s Detroit Free Press and The Lansing State Journal. It sounds like it will be a very lively event!
