Drop-In Homework Help will Resume on January 22

Tutoring sessions will resume on Sunday afternoons on January 22 and Monday and Wednesday evenings on January 23. Homework Help will continue throughout the winter and spring. Please read on for more details about homework help at AADL.

Looking for help with your homework? Look no further than AADL’s Downtown Library. The University of Michigan Chapter of Circle K is once again providing tutoring for students in grades K-12. Stop by the Youth Department Story Corner Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:00 and 8:00 pm to take advantage of this great service!

If you would like homework help over the weekend, U of M’s Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta will again be providing tutoring at the Downtown branch. They will be joined by the U of M group, Operation: Educate Children. Sessions will take place each week from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.

AADL also provides access to Brainfuse, an online tutoring service. Live tutors are available from 2:00 -11:00 pm every day!

Get free help with those final projects any day of the week from 2 – 11pm with the online tutoring service, Brainfuse. Brainfuse allows you to chat live with trained instructors for real-time assistance, no appointment is necessary. Every tutor has a specialty area as well as being trained in online teaching techniques to help explain the tough subjects for grades 3 and up. Available in Spanish and English. Did you know that 826michigan offers one-on-one tutoring Monday through Thursday? Session one runs from 3:30-4:30pm, and session two runs from 4:30-5:30pm. Students who have enough homework are welcome to stay for both sessions. Tutors are available at the lab and ready to help students with writing assignments, homework, English language learning, creative writing, and publishing projects. No reservations are required for tutors—students just drop in and one of the trained volunteer tutors will help the student with anything he or she needs! 826michigan is located on Liberty Street in downtown Ann Arbor.

Beginning this Wednesday, September 10, 2008, the Ann Arbor District Library will be partnering with the University of Michigan’s Circle K chapter to provide free homework help for school-aged children and teenagers. Circle K is an international service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. College student volunteers will be available on Wednesdays, 4:00-8:00 PM, in the Downtown Youth Story Corner for drop-in homework help.

Additionally, AADL offers homework help through Brainfuse, an online resource that provides free, one-on-one homework help and skills building. This service is available between the hours of 2:00PM and 11:00PM, seven days a week. You may access this product remotely or at any of our locations.
