Game On with the Vault

We're teaming up with Vault of Midnight, Ann Arbor’s favorite comic and game store! Game experts from the Vault will spend the afternoon teaching and playing popular European-style family games. No experience is necessary. You bring the gang, we’ll bring the games!

Hands-On Science Workshop For All Ages

Think you know your science? Want to see how science and engineering applies to real-life? Come to this fun-filled Science Workshop full of hands-on science experiments and cool demonstrations based on traditional and new science and engineering fields. All kids (including adults who are kids at heart!), are welcome to explore the fun side of science and engineering!

This event is presented by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Proyecto Avance: Latino Mentoring Association (PALMA) from the University of Michigan. Be sure to bring your curiosity and energy for a night guaranteed to make you want to be a scientist or engineer!

Cup Stack Attack!

How fast can you stack? Learn how to cup stack, or work at beating your best time. Prizes will be awarded to the top three stackers in two divisions.

Dance away at Dance Dance Revolution on Cobalt Flux pads or play your heart out on Guitar Hero. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each tournament.

AADL-GT Smash Kart: Round 4

Saturday November 29, 2008: 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room

The hottest tournament in town continues each month at the Downtown Library! Prizes will be awarded for Super Smash Brothers Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash team and single player events, with the Grand Championship in December! Chess Strategies and Tips

Improve your chess game in one afternoon! First, chess experts Jennifer Skidmore and Ron Finegold will provide key tips to master the chess board battlefield. Then play some chess with other participants to see how these strategies work!
