The hottest tournament in town returns to the Downtown AADL!

We'll have prizes for Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart Double Dash team and single player events, and new prizes for trivia, outrageous outfits and more! The elegant pizza dinner is back!

The Race to Space: Kerbal Space Program

Saturday March 23, 2013: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Training Center

Design and fly spacecraft that are capable of trans-continental or even interplanetary travel!

Kerbal Space Program is a multi-genre game where the players create their own space program. It is a Slapdash Spaceflight Sandbox, where you will be given complete control of your nation's space program. There will be a prize awarded for the farthest successful return trip!

This event is for teens (grades 6 - 12).

Minecraft: The Hunger Games!

This is your chance to compete for the ultimate prize...your lives! The Hunger Games is a hit YA book series and a popular competitive game in the world of Minecraft.

AADL's Minecraft server is up and running! We're hosting our own Minecraft server and we need you to help us build "Ann Arbor." Feel free to play Hunger Games or just join this meeting and help us build Ann Arbor. It's a great way to meet people you've seen on the server and coordinate new builds.

All-Stars Battle Royale

Up to four players can battle each other using characters from various Sony franchises such as God of War and Sly Cooper, and third-party franchises like BioShock!

Ready Player One: Gaming Challenge

Battle your way to the top, through some of the many classic games mentioned in Ernest Cline's hit book "Ready Player One", a novel where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots and entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner.

International Games Day!

It's the (Inter)National Smash Online Brawl Tournament! Gaming's most exciting national (now, international!) online event is back for its 4th YEAR. In addition to competing against other players at libraries across the country - you will now face players from around the world, too!

You can also play Mario Kart Time Trials: just enter your racers' times on a set of tracks into the GT System, and we'll see after the weekend which libraries post the fastest times on each track!
