The 2nd Annual Manga Drawing Contest was held in 2008. Awards were given out Monday, August 4 in three age groups: Kindergarten-Grade 2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12. Judges for the contest were Jerzy Drozd of Make Like A Tree Comics and Shannon "Roku-Chan" Townsend, artist of the webcomic Otaku-no-Yen.
