Getting ready for a 150-person Thanksgiving dinner at the Dixboro Methodist Church are (l-r)Berenice Quackenbush, Anna Freeman and Earl Quackenbush. The dinner was the third annual event for members of the church to recapture the spirit of community of the nation's first Thanksgiving. The cost of the dinner was divided. Mrs. Quackenbush holds Laughlan Campbell, son of the church pastor, Rev. Loren W. Campbell.
