My Turtle, page 1 
One day, I want to go swimming I found a little baby turtle floating and I grabbed it and I took it home. I put it in water and then I went to the Meijer's. I boughtfood for my turtle and I got home and I grabbed my turtle. I gave her some food and she ate all of the food. 
The next day, when I got home from school, my mom told me that my turtle had fallen into the plants. She said she picked it and she put the turtle back in her water bowl. I went and looked at her. She needed more food so, I fed her. She ate some food and she was full. Then she tried to do a flip. She tried and tried and tried. One day she actually did make flip. My mom saved me a picture so that when I got home, I wouldn't be sad that I missed the flip. When I got home, I wasn 't sad, I was so happy! My brother and sister were so happy about the turtle too! 
It is fun having a turtle. I have had her for three years now. I am in third grade now and I was in Kindergarten when I found her. We think she is about four years old. I still like watching her swim and try to flip everyday.
