Mackinac Island, Page 1 
My whole family drove to a station . We waited forever to give the tickets to the people in the ticket booth. We finally got to the benches to wait for the ferry. It was coming. I was excited. We got on the ferry and I got to go on the top. Before I even knew it, we were there . We were now at Mackinac Island! 
I couldn't wait. First, we got on a carriage ride. We saw special places around the island. There were no cars there, only horses and bikes. It took us two hours to do the whole tour but it was the best ride ever. Then , we went for a special lunch on the island and did some shopping. even got to eat some special Mackinac Island Fudge! It was so yummy! 
We went to the fort that is on the island. I saw what life was like many years ago. It was made of brick at sat at the top of a really steep hill. After this, my mom said we could have ice cream. I had the Mackinac Island Fudge flavor and it was the best ever!

Soon we had to get back on a ferry to ride back to the mainland where we were camping. We had a great trip on Mackinac Island .
