Playgroups

Wednesday July 23, 2014: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm -- Pittsfield Branch: Program Room

This is a time for babies up to 24 months and their grown-ups to gather and play. The Library will provide the space and a variety of toys.

Each playgroup includes 15 minutes of stories, rhymes and songs. Parents/guardians must remain with their children.

No older siblings, please.

Super Comics Challenge

Can you meet the Super Comics Challenge?

At this weekly series, you'll design dangerous fortresses, awesome heroes, lugubrious villains, and unlock achievements of the comics-storytelling masters! Each week you'll have two fun drawing challenges to level up your comics-making powers and get special Summer Game codes. Come every week to collect a special series of video challenges! Become the supreme master of visual storytelling!

Sessions will be held at Malletts Creek Branch on Mondays, 6 - 8 pm, July 9 - August 13.

Pinwheel Flower Pots

Want some flowers that won't wilt in the summer heat? Make colorful pinwheel flowers using a few simple supplies. Decorate a flower pot, plant your pinwheels, and let them spin. Or just store them in the pot when you're not playing with them!
