Michigan Treasures: Kerrytown BookFest 2010 Exhibit

Now through October 14, 2010 -- Downtown Library: Lower Level Display Cases

The Kerrytown BookFest 2010 Exhibit focuses on Michigan writers - or homegrown Michigan "treasures." Featured writers are either from Michigan or write books set in or about Michigan, with an emphasis on fiction and children's literature. The exhibit will include books, manuscripts and ephemera related to these authors. The authors range from the celebrated to the less well known, but the object of the exhibit is to spotlight the talent from our home state and create a positive focus on some of the wonderful things about Michigan. Michigan Notable Book winners will also be featured in the exhibit.

Please join us for an exhibit reception in the Downtown Library Multi-Purpose Room on Thursday, September 9, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The reception will feature refreshments, music and remarks by acclaimed Michigan writer Loren Estleman.
