Wild Swan Theater Presents Drum Me a Story

Saturday February 6, 2010: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room

Drum Me a Story is a delightful, humorous collection of well-known African tales including "Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock" and "How the Turtle Got Its Shell," performed by the Wild Swan troupe through storytelling, acting and drumming. As part of the performance, Jaclyn Morrow, who has studied drumming for years, will demonstrate her many drums and teach the audience about them. Ann Arbor's Wild Swan Theater has been delighting family audiences since 1980 with performances that blend storytelling, movement, and music into magical, accessible experiences.
