Chinese culture is deeply embedded in traditional festivals and the Chinese Moon Festival (this year held on October 3) is one of the most important traditional events. The Golden Years Dance Troupe - a group of Chinese elders who live at Parkway Meadows Apartments in Ann Arbor - will perform traditional Chinese dances, singing, tai chi and more. The Golden Years Troupe of senior Chinese-Americans has been performing for seven years in the Ann Arbor area. There are more than 50 members & the oldest is 80 years old. The purpose of the Troupe is to enrich senior's lives, increase health and promote communication between different cultures.
