Dr. David Bloom Discusses A History of the University of Michigan Medical School

Among other achievements, the University of Michigan Medical School was the first medical school in the United States to own and operate its own hospital, among the first major medical schools to admit women, and the first major medical school to teach science-based medicine. Learn more about the fascinating history of this local institution when Dr. David Bloom, MD, discusses the history of the UM Medical School. A short reception will follow Dr. Bloom's presentation.
