HTML, CSS and Javascript: The Basics

Learn how to design web pages and interactive applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript. This class will focus on understanding and writing the client-side code that web browsers process in order to display formatted content onto the screen. Topics covered include: the Document Object Model (DOM), basic HTML tags, controlling document appearance using CSS, and making interactive applications using Javascript. Participants in the class will make their own interactive application. Basic computer and mouse experience is required. This class will offer a Skype simulcast in an overflow space for laptop users and observers. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classrooms will open 15 minutes before the class start times.
