Author A. S. King Discusses Her Work And Announces The Winners Of The 2013 Teen Short Story Contest

Award-winning author A.S. King announces the winners of AADL's 21st annual Teen Short Story Writing Contest and discusses the craft of writing. Join us to celebrate this talented group of future writers!

A.S. King is the author of the highly acclaimed "Ask The Passengers;" the 2012 ALA Top Ten Book for Young Adults "Everybody Sees The Ants" and the 2011 Michael L. Printz Honor Book "Please Ignore Vera Dietz." She is also the author of the ALA Best Books for Young Adults "Dust Of 100 Dogs" and the upcoming "Reality Boy" as well as a collection of award-winning short stories for adults, "Monica Never Shuts Up."

This year, 335 students from this area as well as worldwide, participated in the 'It's All Write' teen short story contest. A total of $1,500 in prizes will be distributed to the winners.

Light refreshments will be served.
