Web App Boot Camp: Python Programming
Friday December 14, 2012: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Training Center
Learn what computer programming is and why it is useful to learn - and gain an introductory knowledge of Python (a general purpose, high-level programming language) in this hands-on workshop (the second of three) suitable for beginners who have mouse and basic computer skills. While the first workshop gave a general overview, session two will cover Python programming in greater depth.
We will review several of the basic computer programming and Python topics covered in the first workshop, and then delve further into Python. We will mix brief lectures about core elements of the Python language with interactive exercises.
An additional workshop on related web app subjects will be offered at the same time and location on Friday, December 21. You are welcome to attend all three workshops - but it is not a requirement for participation.
