Geek Academy: Arduino Lab!

Saturday March 17, 2012: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm -- Downtown Library: Training Center

Join the Makers of All Hands Active (AHA, Digital Ops) in an Arduino Lab that could only scratch the surface of what this little prototyping board can do. Arduino, the popular open-source single-board microcontroller is designed to make the process of using electronics in multidisciplinary projects more accessible.

The combination of the Ardiuno hardware and software leads to endless uses from the nerdily absurd to the futuristically functional. Arduino can sense the environment by receiving input from a variety of sensors and can affect its surroundings by controlling lights, motors, and other actuators.

This event is for teens (grade 6 and up) and adults. Arrive early - space is limited.
