Live Streaming Of 'Encouraging Crazy Ideas' - The TEDxUofM Event

Friday April 8, 2011: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm -- Downtown Library: 4th Floor Meeting Room

TEDxUofM is a University-wide initiative to galvanize the community for an event like no other; filled with inspiration, discovery and excitement. Borrowing template from the world-renowned TED conference, TEDxUofM aims to bring a TED-like experience to the University of Michigan.

This event, held at the Michigan Theater, will be live streamed to the public in the 4th floor meeting room of the Downtown Library. All are invited to attend.

The vision is to showcase the most fascinating thinkers and doers, the "leaders and best" in Michigan terms, for a stimulating day of presentations, discussions, entertainment and art that will spark new ideas and opportunities across all disciplines. Encouraging Crazy Ideas. Perhaps a scientist unveiling a breakthrough finding. An artist revealing her impossibly rich imagination. From cultivating out-of-box thinking, comes discovery--and a thrilling sense of possibility that some call inspiration.
