Join us for an open discussion of the book that is the focus of Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Reads 2008: William Poy Lee’s "The Eighth Promise: An American Son’s Tribute To His Toisanese Mother." This discussion, led by Ann Arbor District Library staff, will examine this captivating book which gives us a rare view of the Chinese-American experience from a mother/son perspective.
