Imaginary Spaces: Painting the Abstract by Diane Aronoff
March 18, 2010 through April 29, 2010 -- Malletts Creek Branch: Exhibits
Diane Aronoff has been experimenting in the medium of painting for several years. Primarily self-taught, her interests are design, composition, color, texture and the abstract synthesis of those visual elements. An artist friend once suggested that Diane keep in mind the "three I's": Inspiration, Imitation and Innovation. Diane's challenge of innovation has been to free herself to realize the visions of her imagination. Her work in this display reflects that journey.
In August 1999, Diane Aronoff had her first solo exhibit at the Ann Arbor District Library. Soon after she began applying to art fairs; she has been exhibiting nationally ever since.
