Detroit Metro Times says that "These... moms have nine kids among them and share a mutual desire to start a mini-mosh revolution one jacked-up nursery rhyme at a time." You've never heard "The Alphabet Song" or "It’s Your Birthday" played like this! With influences like the Ramones and Iggy Pop, Candy Band quickly attracted attention from publications like The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, the London Times, People Magazine, and The Today Show. Their self-titled CD is in its fourth pressing and their second CD, More Candy, has enjoyed extensive airplay on radio stations around the country. Their third CD, Lollipunk, was released in the summer of 2005 and is climbing the charts on XM Satellite Radio. |
