Have you wondered what apps out there for your baby to use, or be soothed by with your iPad? Bring your baby and explore our baby-proofed iPads. We'll start with some rhymes and music and you will have time to play with an iPad with your baby.

This event is for parents, caregivers and infants & toddlers from birth to 24 months.

Tuesday June 25, 2013: 11:00 am to 11:45 am -- Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room

Paul Sikorski from Michigan Peak Performance will demonstrate to parents how metronomes increase focus by learning to tune out distractions. This training can also significantly increase reading and math fluency scores.

While Paul chats with parents Steve Osburn, of Oz Music fame, will lead children in rhythm and musical games.

This event is for parents and caregivers with youth in grades K - 5.

Travel to a galaxy far, far away as you sew your own Yoda doll from felt. Note: We will be using real sewing needles. Parents/caregivers should assist younger participants.
