Learn to design and program your own video games! This workshop will take beginners through the basics of Unity 3D, a free game development platform used by professional developers all around the world. This workshop will focus on best practices for creating a game in the “Racing” genre, like Mario Kart or Need for Speed.

Bring your first Computer Animation to life! Learn classic techniques developed by the masters of animation. Explore the principles of animation using the game-focused challenges created by the instructors from GameStart. In this class we will be using 3D animation and lighting techniques.

Explore the endless possibilities of Minecraft programming using the Python programming language! Begin with the basics of navigating 3D space via code. Then work your way up to our automated-city-building programming challenges! Along the way, learn Python concepts like loops, arguments and functions. No prior experience necessary. This hands-on session will be led by the staff from GameStart.
