Educating Community Members About Health Insurance Options

Monday January 26, 2015: 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm -- Malletts Creek Branch: Program Room

In partnership with the Washtenaw Health Initiative (WHI) and the U-M group, the Health Policy Student Association, this session will provide information about health insurance options and will also provide information to refer community members to services that can directly enroll people into the coverage they’re eligible for.

Some community members are enrolled in coverage that requires re-enrollment each year, and the speaker will have information and assistance for attendees to learn about re-enrollment.

DTE staff present an informative talk about all the ways homeowners and renters can save money by using the conservation tips and enhancements that DTE provides free of charge, like LED lightbulbs and energy-saving shower heads. Hear about how you can have a home energy consultation!

Nature Walk @ Barton Nature Area

This event is intended for adults, teens and youth (grade K and up).

Join staff members of AADL and the City of Ann Arbor’s Natural Area Preservation for an informative nature walk in the beautiful 102-acre Barton Nature Area.

Learn about native plants and animals, and about the diverse natural features of the area.

Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. Meet in the parking lot off Huron Drive, just north of the Bird Road intersection.
