Gingerbread

1 egg well beaten, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup molasses,
1/2 cup sour milk with 1 level teaspoon soda dissolved,
1 level teaspoon ginger, dash cinnamon, cloves & allspice,
1 1/2 cup flour. Last add 1/2 cup melted butter, beat
all well and bake in a slow oven 25 minutes.
