Corn Cakes

1 cup scalded meal
1 heaping teaspoon butter
1 egg
2 heaping teaspoons flour
1 1/2 tablespoons each sugar, salt
Add sweet milk to batter and 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Bake on hot griddle.
