Patron Comment: When someone changes something on your request list, for example an item you requested is missing or lost, and the item is "surpressed" and that someone requests the same item, but a different edition, it would be helpful if they could email you. Thanks.

Patron Comment: Parking. The convenient for dropping off in the outdoor deposit parking spaces should be designated for library use only. The library is almost empty, but the space are full!

Regarding: facility issue
Patron Comment: The slamming door near the rear computers (#1 to #4) makes it almost intolerable to sit there. I am sure that hydraulics on the door can fix this to make it quieter. Thank you.

Patron Comment: I cannot find a class for Excel Basics. I see intermediate and advanced but not basic. Is there such a class? Please email me.
AADL Reply: Thanks for contacting us. We offer an Excel Basics class every month. This month's class occurred on May 6th at the Traverwood branch. We'll offer the class again in June and July at the following on the following dates: Wednesday, June 12, 7 - 9 pm at the Malletts Creek Branch Monday, July 15, 3:30 - 5:30 pm at the Traverwood Branch The June and July class schedule will be available to the public soon @ aadl.org/classes. In the meantime, you may find the software tutorials available @ aadl.org/handouts to be helpful. Please let me know if there is anything else that I may do for you. See you in class! I know your summer brochure isn't out yet, and we always look forward to the competition so I want to make sure it's on my calendar and I don't miss it. Also when is your summer brochure coming out? Patron Comment: I would like to donate some books to the library. How do I do that? Thank you!
AADL Reply: Donations are accepted, but are processed by the Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library and are placed in their Book Shop. Donations may be brought to the back of the Downtown Library (343 S. Fifth Avenue) during library business hours (http://www.aadl.org/aboutus/hours). Enter the Staff Parking lot off William Street, ring intercom buzzer at door and tell receptionist that you have materials to donate. Donation bins are directly inside the door. The Friends of the Ann Arbor District Library will then process your donation. For more information on material accepted visit http://www.faadl.org/ and follow the "How to Donate" link. Thank you.
