Alt-Pop-Punk submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:39am Most of these tracks find themselves at the meeting point of alt-rock and pop-punk, occasionally dipping into one side or the other but mostly managing to successfully incorporate elements of both into a consistent sound. As expected with these genres, the music has a lot of energy to it, with more rhythmic and thematic variation than a lot of pop-punk albums and the more convincing emotional delivery typically found within alt-rock. It’s a solid hybrid, even if the approach isn’t wholly original.
