Having been cast out from an enchanted kingdom under mysterious circumstances, Chad (a teenage wizard in exile) spends his days seeking out substitutes for the magical joys of his home. In this issue Chad finds a place in one of the many large, lovely houses run by Ann Arbor’s Inter-Cooperative Council and has to navigate his new nonmagical social life. Luckily for him, Ann Arbor is just the sort of place that has plenty to offer a young, aimless wizard.
COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Chad Agamemnon submitted by camieroper on April 29, 2020, 12:53pm What a refreshing read! Chad is a misfit from (purportedly) somewhere else, and needs a home. After introduction to his future roommates, he is downcast as he doesn't fit in. Anyone having navigated middle school can probably relate. The characters are interesting and definitely have potential. And it is quite fun to recognize the various sites in Ann Arbor in this comic book. Definitely looking forward to more installments!
Moving in ann arbor submitted by JY 2005 on August 1, 2020, 2:26pm Very fun comic on a family moving to ann arbor.
What I think about this comic submitted by virgo878 on August 11, 2020, 11:14am I thought it was cool how he could do magic also the part where he took a walk and saw a huge line in front of Zingermins was very accurate I feel like when I first moved to Ann Arbor I felt similar to the way he felt but after a little bit I got to know new people and make friends

Fun submitted by delaflynn on August 21, 2021, 5:08pm Cute comic and I like that it's set in Ann Arbor. Hope Chad gets over his awkwardness with the mortal world soon. I think he could get to like living here!
I remember... submitted by nsvinicki on July 7, 2022, 11:09am Very fun and relatable comic! Even visiting Ann Arbor often growing up, moving here felt like living in a different world. They don't say "26 miles of highway surrounded by reality" for nothing!
