COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Good submitted by zmclaugh on July 29, 2018, 12:09pm I loved the first part of the book. Philip Pullman is at his best when he's telling stories with a slight fairy tale lilt to them, and what you loved about The Golden Compass is back in this book. I had some problems with the second half of the book, mainly that it didn't really make sense with the first half. But I'll read this whole series anyway, so that must mean something.

Enjoyable submitted by lstorc on August 30, 2018, 8:00pm Incredible introduction to the time before Lyra grew up. It's emotionally stirring and creative!
