When We Were Alone submitted by poptart887 on August 4, 2020, 9:57am A lovely book about a young girl who's asking her mother questions and the mother telling of experiences in school and how things were not allowed. A very nice and straight forward book for younger children. This book made it easy to understand oppression and that it is wrong.
