Rogue One submitted by SBNB on June 18, 2017, 9:26pm This Star Wars movie was ok. I wish there had been more substance to it, but it was good enough I suppose. That said, I played Candy Crush through most of it, especially the end. Not bad but not great.

Star Wars Standalone submitted by Meginator on June 21, 2017, 7:27am I loved this movie. The characters are compelling, the sets are fantastic, the story fits right into the Star Wars universe we know and love, and the main character is a woman who means business. This movie is so important and it's also a lot of fun. The stakes are high and the emotional climax is effective and gut-wrenching. I love what Disney is doing with Star Wars and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Heroes submitted by DL on June 22, 2017, 8:29pm The story of how the Death Star plans were gotten.

A free-standing episode submitted by GJBarnett2 on June 23, 2017, 10:01pm ... in the Star Wars saga. Almost all new characters, great production values and a surprise ending. Best line: "Are you kidding me? I'm blind!" as they put a bag over his head.

Strong Female Protagonist submitted by kimberlina on June 25, 2017, 4:15pm Action packed movie with a strong female protagonist. Followed the Star Wars plot logically. Good job recreating favorite characters while creating likable new characters. Worth watching on a Saturday night.

Great submitted by yenkong on June 28, 2017, 8:27pm Never disappointed with Star wars brabd.

Best Ever!! submitted by -alex- on June 29, 2017, 2:03pm Out of all the films in the Star Wars franchise, this one stands out as one of the very best. It's definitely dark, by Star Wars standards, but a joy to watch.

Usually, with Star Wars, the viewer has to stomach some horrendous acting, absurdly squishy romantic elements, and goofy dialogue along with the truly amazing visual effects and the fascinating universe George Lucas created.

Rogue One has none of the usual flaws. The actors can genuinely act, and the goofy, syrupy elements of the earlier films have been stripped away.

Excellent submitted by dahyatt on July 3, 2017, 10:02pm A must watch for any Star Wars fan.

Rogue One: Worth watching for Star Wars fans (4 stars) submitted by charliebrown on July 17, 2017, 1:00pm Very cool the way the ending leads directly to the original Star Wars movie. I liked how every action by every character was crucial to getting the job done. Having seen all the Star Wars movies, Rogue One makes it more obvious that Star Wars universe is like a cosmic relay race with the baton of hope being passed from one heroic action to the next.

Outstanding submitted by kathleen824 on August 8, 2017, 12:49am Outstanding backstory that fills in the how the rebels (heroes) secure the plans to the Death Star.

So Good! submitted by Rumshaker13 on June 20, 2018, 9:13pm My all time favorite star wars movie

Okay submitted by zmclaugh on July 12, 2018, 7:02pm Certainly not the best Star Wars movie.

ok submitted by kbahleda on July 23, 2018, 9:38am Wasn't great and kinda just another Star Wars movie

? submitted by anupamap on August 17, 2018, 9:13am It was my least favorite, it was very boring and there was no light saber dueling

Nice! submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 2:10pm This was a great introduction to the Starwars extensions. It had a strong cast and good pacing.

Great movie! submitted by Xris on August 29, 2018, 10:11pm I love how they fill in what happened right before Episode IV. So sad in the end, but liked watching it.

Wow submitted by jduffy12 on August 31, 2018, 10:46pm This was well written story

Episode 3.5 submitted by mellonir on June 3, 2019, 1:25am I'm trying to figure out what about this movie people weren't liking. It sets up the beginning of episode IV.
It has action, drama, humor, good acting, and likable characters.
Darth Vader doesn't mess around.
It even starts differently than the typical Star Wars movie.
I liked this one better than the other post-original trilogy movies.
Shows you don't need a lightsaber duel to tell a good Star Wars tale.

eerier submitted by BookStars on August 17, 2019, 8:30am high

Loved it submitted by gracekil on August 20, 2019, 2:36pm My favorite Star Wars film. loved the lead character.

Doesn't Age Well submitted by caburr47 on June 29, 2020, 10:13pm I have watched this film a few times now, and I certainly would have to say it is not my favorite star wars film. Not all of the characters had the same amount of depth, Diego Luna was great, but I felt the supporting characters were more interesting than the main characters.

best Star Wars movie submitted by tisaallen on June 15, 2022, 7:08pm This was a good film that ties into the overall story arc but breaks the mold of all the other Star Wars movies doing the same thing over and over again.

enjoyed it! submitted by zaraz on August 5, 2022, 4:10pm I thought this was a super entertaining Star Wars story-- I've watched it a few times now and I've had fun each time!

Good! submitted by Abbie D. on August 21, 2022, 4:37pm I liked this movie!!!!!!!

Best of the new movies submitted by renarde7 on June 23, 2023, 6:55pm I wish the new trilogy could have been this good. This is the kind of extended Star Wars universe I've wanted since I fell in love with the original trilogy as a kid.

one of the better films in the SW franchise submitted by EJZ on July 16, 2023, 4:59pm It was fun to see a film that explored the universe of SW outside the typical Jedi vs Sith tropes that seem to just get rewritten in each of the classic trilogies. The acting was decent and it was well-paced
