"A charming, hilarious, irresistible romp of a novel that brings together nine unrelated women, each touched by the same little black dress that weaves through their lives, bringing a little magic with it. Natalie is a Bloomingdale's salesgirl mooning over her lawyer ex-boyfriend who's engaged to someone else after just two months. Felicia has been quietly in love with her boss for seventeen years and has one night to finally make the feeling mutual. Andie is a private detective who specializes in gathering evidence on cheating husbands--a skill she unfortunately learned from her own life--and lands a case that may restore her faith in true love. For these three women, as well as half a dozen others in sparkling supporting roles--a young model fresh from rural Alabama, a diva Hollywood star making her Broadway debut, an overachieving, unemployed Brown grad who starts faking a fabulous life on social media, to name just a few--everything is about to change, thanks to the dress of the season, the perfect little black number everyone wants to get their hands on"-- Provided by publisher.

A Great Summer Read! submitted by pamhockey25 on June 20, 2017, 5:08pm This fun book, Nine Women, One Dress, weaves a story from the point of view of nine different women who all are somehow connected to the "little black dress" of the season. Each character is unique, and has her own experience with the dress, and this encounter somehow changes her life. It's a perfect diversion that only takes a few hours to finish, but is ultimately satisifying. You'll be glad you read it.

Interesting weave of characters submitted by onpaper24 on June 27, 2017, 11:01am I loved how this book came from different angles. I'm not sure I really knew any of the characters names, but I knew them by their voice in each chapter. Wonderful book.

Enjoyable submitted by Zekicmom on July 23, 2017, 7:41pm This was a perfect summer read - light with characters you want the best the for.

Light-weight Feel-good Novel submitted by BookNerd on August 7, 2017, 6:43pm A breezy style and multiple points of view make this charming little book an easy summer read.

Southern runway model; young Bloomingdale sales person; older Bloomingdale sales person; private detective; legal assistant; burqa-wearing Parisian sisters; Instagram fake; and their masculine counterparts are the strings woven into this lighthearted story of a classic Little Black Dress.

Reminiscent of the Ray Bradbury short story (and later play, and even later movie) "The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit".
