Soothing Pop submitted by Meginator on July 13, 2017, 8:02pm Natalie Merchant's voice is amazing, and her songs take full advantage of her alto range and unique timbre. I'm not familiar with all of the songs from "Tigerlily", but the re-recorded versions of the songs I did recognize are a bit deeper than the originals, and it's clear that Merchant has put a lot of her heart and soul into this album. This is a soothing album with a lot of lyrical and musical depth, and I look forward to listening to it again.
