Misunderstood Indeed submitted by Meginator on July 12, 2019, 10:44pm This album seems constructed to be broadly appealing, with a blend of country and rock that works pretty well and feels natural to Eric Church’s style. Aside from the reedy vocals, though, and maybe the first track, nothing unique jumped out at me and I just couldn't get into it. I can see why this album is so popular, and it's certainly not bad by any means, but the music didn't grab my interest at all; I guess I misunderstood it.
