Read the manual! submitted by camelsamba on July 19, 2016, 11:01pm Part of the fun of reading this series is the page at the beginning of each chapter/issue that is supposed to be a page out of the Lumberjanes Field Manual. They are just so earnest and intense! Also fun: the play on words and/or puns in the badge names.

In this volume you see more of campers from other cabins. Notice that one of the cabins is named Roswell, a clear homage since there is an element of supernatural in this volume.

Lumberjanes Vol. 2 submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 26, 2016, 10:33pm Friendship, monsters, a budding romance, supernatural entities, and firm lady-power continue to make this comic a groundbreaking and unique delight. This volume didn't grab me as strongly as the first, but I'm not sure that would have been possible. I was very pleased with how it brought together a lot of the strange goings-on around this summer camp for "Hardcore Lady-Types." It was a cery satisfying story arc. There was some character development for people sidelined in the first volume, and an expanded look at the camp as well. I wish there had been more development of the established characters in this arc, but I'm sure that is coming in future volumes.

Recommended for tween/teen and adult fans of Gravity Falls, as well!

DEFINITELY read every part of this! submitted by nsvinicki on August 9, 2017, 2:29pm I second a below reviewer - read the pages out of the Lumberjanes Field Manual. It's solid gold. Also read the beginning and ending bits of every volume - there's awesome easter eggs and tidbits everywhere!
