You could look for deeper meanings, but it will be more fun if you just escape into the fluff. An interesting twist is the friendship / mentorship? between 70-year-old Ben (Robert De Niro) and internet-sensation Jules (Anne Hathaway).

Light submitted by markwells on July 24, 2018, 6:07pm This seemed to be a formula movie and I expect more from Deniro. An aging actor should still play characters that are interesting, multi dimensional, and intense. I didn't sense that in this role. The movie was not bad but not great. Grade: B-.
