COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Often charming, occassionally problematic submitted by katehutchens on August 2, 2020, 7:33am In some ways this program is highly self-congratulatory of medical and social progress of midcentury Britain, and where it's critical of that period it's pointing to the progress since. And there's plenty of fodder for criticisms a viewer can make about the depictions of the late days of the British empire, even if the show doesn't. Many lovable characters, lots of heart-tugging drama, and of course LOTS of babies.

Excellent series submitted by Angela Argento on August 20, 2020, 4:42pm Really interesting look at women's lives
