Epic! submitted by wleemoy on July 26, 2018, 1:56am This series is so well done! The production reads epic in every way. The high budget was well-spent. Nothing is frivolous. Extra points for the casting of great Asian actors, in featured roles. It’s so refreshing to see real Asians playing Asians in non-bit, or comedic parts in film and TV. The characters are full and complex, the action is impressively choreographed, and the costumes and sets are stunning.

Keeping as close to authentic history this series is produced in a grand scale with characters fitting their rules convincingly whether Benedict Wong as the Great Khan or Kaidu, Ariq Boke and others. Must watch for history buffs and others alike.
