Intricate and amazing

An excellent 5th volume of this graphic novel series. The story has both local and universal arcs, both personal and political layers. It's set in space with winged and horned (and TV-headed) species, but touches on decisions and emotions that define what make us human. All this wrapped up in enough action and gorgeous artwork to hook the reader and make it a page-turner. The character development and intricate story line have me hooked.
Not appropriate for those under 18, but recommended for those over.
Least favorite submitted by nsvinicki on August 1, 2017, 11:41am I really enjoyed this series, but this was my least favorite volume. It's always been kind of insane and off the wall reading this series, but this volume pushed past my lines for acceptable. Read it only to further the plot and move on to the subsequent volumes.
Saga Volume 5 submitted by avrogers1 on July 18, 2018, 12:08am The beginning of this book has a brief history of the war. Stuck right in the middle and now and having been split up, Marko forms an uneasy alliance with Prince Robot IV, while Alana tries to protect Hazel from the Rebellion. Meanwhile, Sophie, Lying Cat, Gwendolyn and The Brand go in search of ingredients to save Thw Will.
Graphic violence, language and sex submitted by kathscot on July 11, 2019, 9:18pm Not for kids. The terrible bureaucracy of war is shown and the characters must make odd alliances.
