Nice detective wins! submitted by gardenfaerie on August 27, 2017, 7:14am Well, OK, not exactly wins, but quietly solves cases others can't manage to! If you've seen Peter Davison as Doctor Who or in All Creatures Great and Small, or any other role, this is a very different role for him. He plays a nice, competent man who, for reasons I didn't quite get, everyone underestimates and, sometimes, is kind of mean to, including his ex wife and some smartarse younger colleagues. Lol, I could kind of relate to him a lot, and the mytseries are also interesting. :)
