Ann Arbor artist. Helen Gotlib studied printmaking and scientific illustration while earning her BFA at the University of Michigan. Still based in Ann Arbor, Gotlib work from live models and still life to evoke the the expressiveness of botanical and human structure. Her pieces make use of colored pencil, lithography, intaglio, and woodblock prints.
