Pure meh submitted by WillJBell on August 18, 2023, 10:16am This was a big downgrade from the previous iteration of the Suicide Squad. The story was either incredibly average and dull or frustratingly stupid. Characters like Black Manta and Deathstroke were criminally underutilized or misused and the less said about Joker's Daughter the better.

The Suicide Squad is known for its twists and nobody-is-safe tension, but the former were so predictable it sucked any enjoyment out of their reveal and the latter was sadly non-existent.

Recommended only if you want an average, mindless book that feels nothing like the Suicide Squad.
