Delightful submitted by kelleyc on June 22, 2016, 1:08pm The fourth heroine from the Lunar Chronicle series is just as brave and tough as the rest, but in a delicate, secret way. Winter keeps you captivated from the start.

The BEST of the series! submitted by srahman on June 25, 2016, 7:23pm I really, really loved this book because it was just... awesome from the start to the end and you can't get enough of it. Unlike most other books, this book had a great ending and only awesome authors can do that so cheers to Marissa Meyer!!!

Eh submitted by kzheng on July 9, 2016, 4:56pm To be honest, I didn't like this book as much as the others in the series. Winter is very naive and kind. Perhaps more interesting if she had a stronger personality?

Lunar Finale! submitted by LibraryLiz on July 23, 2016, 4:21pm This book definitely has narration coming from a lot of angles! As the finale, it's understandable to have so many characters to create closure for, and while the various narratives can sometimes get jumbled (especially if you're a late-night reader), it's still a great story that Meyer wraps up well. I loved getting to know Winter and Jacin better, and the twist on the more traditional view of "Snow White" was fantastic! I've loved the series, and all these characters, so I was sad to say goodbye - but this finale was a great way to end this story.

VERY satisfying end submitted by nsvinicki on August 8, 2017, 12:11pm This is the 4th and final book in Meyer's "Lunar Chronicles" series.

The title character of this book, Winter, has been mentioned in other books in this series, but we finally get to read from her perspective. Winter is Meyer's take on Snow White (and if you haven't gathered, Levana is the Evil Queen). This poor girl has been through some of the worst treatment imaginable. Teen fiction has become a genre known for using sensational, extreme abuse as plot points and back story, and Meyer has used this, to a point. She did it in an unrealistic way, which I think helps take some of the humanization out of it.

We also get to see the reality of life on Luna for the first time. The realities of the wolf warriors, and what the court looks like now. It's not pretty, and feels mroe like the Hunger Games than a utopia.

There are some major battle scenes - don't worry, no one dies - and peace comes at a low price. All our plot points are wrapped up, and the happily ever afters are satisfyingly attained. Not very realistic, because hey, this is sci-fi, but enjoyable, not formulaic, and interesting enough to keep my attention.

The Final of the Series submitted by clb89 on August 13, 2017, 9:53pm The ending was great and each character did get an ending, though it does leave some things still open for interpretation.

The absolute best submitted by jw on August 11, 2018, 1:08pm The ending was so good

My review submitted by EstherMaya on August 18, 2018, 10:16pm The ending was really good and this is over all one of my favorite series ever, but I wish Cinder had not decided to give up her crown. It would be fun to have another book about her dealing with polotics and her love with kai but over all great book =D

Wonderful End! submitted by treechild on June 21, 2019, 1:30am A GREAT ending to a fantastic series! Though the book is quite long, it provides a moving ending to the saga and ties up each character's individual stories well. Would love to see more!

Amazing submitted by c_zhang on June 27, 2019, 11:51pm Honestly the best book of the series. It provides a very satisfying end for each of the characters.
