Canadian parent trap submitted by tuttlium on July 4, 2023, 8:37am Jane Stuart lives with and adores her mother, who is completely under the thumb of HER mother, Jane's grandmother, who has bent her household to her will. When a letter arrives from Jane's father, who is NOT dead after all, asking for Jane to spend the summer with him in Prince Edward Island, Jane is finally able to escape that cruel Toronto house and bloom into a capable and confident young woman. After she returns to Toronto, nothing will ever be the same again.
